Syd Walter, President, is a psychotherapist in Santa Fe, and the senior meditation instructor at the Prajna Zen Center in Eldorado. Syd has been meditating for 30 years and is a member of Heart Mountain’s Teachers Committee.

Gershon Siegel, Vice President, is a community activist and Co-Editor of the Sun Monthly Magazine.

Lyra Barron, Secretary, is an artist, filmmaker, web designer, and grant writer, and has been working with Heart Mountain to create their new site and the short films seen on this site. She is also involved with other documentary film projects, including one that currectly addresses the homeless.

Debra Link was a previous board member for Las Clinicas del Norte and Peace Action New Mexico. She is an oil painter, a volunteer literacy tutor, a political activist, and an active member of Amnesty International. She has been a meditator for approximately 20 years.

Katie Norton is a non-profit organizational consultant with the Bioneers and other organizations.

Doug Booth, Executive Director, is an attorney who has taught meditation in prisons since 1998. He has studied meditation with Jack Kornfield and Sayadaw U Lakkhana in Burma.
